Questions, answered
Is CardPetal really free?
Yes. Making, sending and opening cards is free, with no account and no watermark. The site is supported by a few clearly marked ads on the information pages — never inside the card itself.
Where is my message stored?
Nowhere on our side. The whole card is compressed into the link you send, after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server. Anyone with the link can open the card, so share it privately.
Will it work on their phone?
Yes. Cards open in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, tablets and computers, with no app to install. If they prefer less motion, the card appears without the big animations.
Can I send the card as a video?
Yes. After you create it you can download the animation as a video (MP4 or WebM, depending on your browser) or the finished card as an image, to post or send anywhere.
